The
Institute of Molecular Cardiology is a multidisciplinary group of
basic and clinical investigators focused on translational research.
Included
among its members are faculty from the departments of Physiology &
Biophysics, Neurobiology & Behavior, Surgery, and Mechanical Engineering.
The tools of Biophysics, Molecular and Cell Biology are used in attacking
problems of clinical relevance. About 5,000 square feet of space on the
sixth floor of the Basic Science Tower of the Health Sciences Center
was
renovated to include Molecular Biology laboratories, laboratory and office
space for clinical research, and an Institute conference area. |
